American Idol runner up Katharine McPhee was dropped by her record label. McPhee did one album with RCA which debuted at # 2 on Billboard, but the album only sold 336,000 copies.
What does this say for American Idol ?
Wannabees trying to make it into the big time. Very few are even one hit wonders. It’s similar to a reality show. The reality being, contestants will remain as contestants.
